According to authorities, Woods was driving a Land Rover when he attempted to pass a turning vehicle at high speed. The vehicle clipped a trailer, lost control, and rolled over on South Beach Road.
Yes. According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, Woods was involved in a rollover crash near his home on Jupiter Island. Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said a pressure cleaner truck was northbound on South Beach Road turning into a driveway, and the driver saw a black Land Rover, driven by Woods, coming from behind to pass him at high speeds. He edged off side of Beach Road, and the Land Rover swerved and clipped the back end of the trailer, the sheriff said. The Land Rover slid across the road, and the driver — Woods — crawled out of the vehicle.
